The Witcher developer CD Projekt Red is collaborating with Saudi Arabia-owned game developer Scopely for a new mobile game, but it’s not releasing soon. During CD Projekt’s latest earnings briefing, joint-CEO Michał Nowakowski was asked for an update on how the mysterious project–which is a game based on a CD Projekt franchise–is coming together. The executive said the game is “definitely not” coming out this year. Nowakowski said the nature of game development is ongoing iteration, and this takes time.
