When Dragon’s Dogma 2 launched back in 2024, it quickly became one of my favorite RPGs of all time. I still look back on it with fondness, and time hasn’t changed my opinion. The chaos of climbing a beast that should crush you with a gentle push of a finger and stabbing away at its weak points alongside your party cannot be beaten. It’s one of the most satisfying combat mechanics in gaming.
