Thimbleweed Park 2 is "not really a sequel, not really a prequel," but it is in development and due out in 2028
Hark! I bring word of some good news for those of you with an appetite for adventure games with tasty pixel art. You may remember that Monkey Island creator Ron Gilbert was working on a game that was described as “Classic Zelda meets Diablo meets Thimbleweed Park.” That got canned at the end of last year, unfortunately, but the spirit of Thimbleweed Park lives on. Literally!
