It wouldn’t be a Fable preview if I wasn’t at least a little bit wary of encouraging you to get your hopes up. But, forgive me, I’m going to. I’ve seen a good half hour of continuous gameplay and, although it comes with plenty of caveats, it really was fantastic. Playground Games’ Fable reboot looks to be silly, crass, British, beautiful, systemic, and maybe a little overambitious.
