Red Hook Studios surprised Darkest Dungeon fans by announcing new DLC for the first game years after a sequel was already released. It’s titled The Fire’s Edge and will be out in August. Darkest Dungeon exited early access in 2016 and last received DLC in May 2020. In the six years since, Red Hook launched a sequel that builds on the strong foundations of the first game and has supported it with DLC.
