Shadow of the Colossus Director Fumito Ueda Laments Bluepoint Games Closure
Earlier in 2026, Sony shut down Bluepoint Games, the studio behind the fantastic Demon’s Souls and Shadow of the Colossus remakes. In an interview with IGN, Fumito Ueda, the original creator of Shadow of the Colossus, expressed his sadness at Bluepoint’s demise, saying he’d hoped to work with the developer at least once more.
