The battle for Super Earth will be coming to the big screen, just not as soon as previously expected. Sony Pictures has reshuffled its slate of upcoming films, and the Helldivers movie has been bumped from its November 10, 2027 release date. According to Sony, the Helldivers movie will now be released on June 9, 2028. Placing the film near the beginning of the summer box office season may be a sign of Sony’s confidence in the project.
